Homeschool Days
at the Art Space

Homeschooling families in Western Massachusetts have no shortage of curriculum. What is harder to find is a room with good light, a long table, and somebody who has already bought the supplies. Beginning Tuesday, September 1, our Wilbraham art space opens on weekday mornings for exactly that.

Homeschool Days is not a drop-in craft hour. Families book the days they want — Tuesday through Friday, ten to two — and spend them designing, printing, building and painting. At two o’clock, students leave with the thing they made in their hands.

Every program we run is output-based. There are no worksheets and no busywork. A student who spends a week with us goes home with four days of real objects — and, more to the point, a week’s worth of decisions they made themselves about color, structure and finish.

• Print & Design — bookmark, postcard and business card print labs
• Painting — canvas studio, vinyl record painting, paint nights
• Engineering — paper airplane design, sword and shield builds
• Fiber & Sculpture — chenille animal, flower and forest labs
• Light & Electronics — LightUp portraits, nameplates and keepsakes
• Seasonal Studio — sandscapes, lighthouses, wind chimes, tiki torches and masks
